Monthly gathering to discuss current research, holistic midwifery care, and integrative care. Open to practicing midwives (CNM or DEM), student midwives, and complementary health providers.
We will meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 9-10 am at Metro Midwifery. You may choose to stay after the Roundtable for emergency skills practice from 10-11 am (we will cover NRP, shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and more).
Cost is $25/sesson; 1 MEAC CEU will be provided. Skills practice is free of charge. Payment will be accepted at each session.
Pre-registration is required the week prior if you wish to contribute a study for discussion. Otherwise, drop-in registration is allowed. However, please notify us if you are planning to attend so we can notify you in the event of cancellation for a birth.
To pre-register, email gina@metromidwifery.com with your intent to attend, as well as any research/cases (as determined by that month’s topic) that you are contributing to the Roundtable.
Research Roundtable is from 4-5 pm with Emergency Drills from 3-4 pm(no CEUs offered for ED).
