Birth photography is hotter than hot right now. Instagram is lit up with amazing images of birth that only a professional photographer can capture. Our practice has had the pleasure of working with world-renowned photographer, Monet Moutrie, of Monet Nicole: Denver Birth Photography, on several occasions. Not only does Monet capture some incredible shots, her calm, encouraging presence has such a grounding effect on the birth space.

In our podcast interview, Monet shares a bit about her journey into the world of birth photography, tips for parents considering hiring a photographer for her birth, advice for new photographers–or those transitioning to the very different animal of birth photography–and even how she came to be named Monet.
