Friday is usually the day that I post my weekly blog (okay, okay… sometimes I don’t get it done until Saturday), but this week, Gina and I are not going to be posting our usual content so that we can make room to amplify Black voices. Today, I’d like to share with you some resources that relate to Black maternal and infant health.
If you don’t already know, Black birthing people experience a disproportionately high rate of mortality and morbidity in the United States, and their babies are much more likely to die in the first year of life than white babies. Please take the time to read and learn from the resources below – and if you have a good link for us to add, please send it along. I will keep updating this post.
