Metro Midwifery is excited to be welcome a local student, Paige Hesen. Paige will be in a long-term placement with us, beginning in June. You can expect to see Paige in the office with Gina during the times that Marissa is not in clinic.

Paige Hesen is a current midwifery student at the Midwives College of Utah and working towards her Phase II clinical requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery.
Paige holds a previous Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder. She worked at Denver Health for four years in the Neuropsychology department before deciding to pursue her passion of midwifery and women’s health. Paige is a trained DONA doula having attended more than 40 births, both in hospital and community settings. Paige is also certified phlebotomist, and has completed a Midwifery Assistant training program through Midwives College of Utah. She holds certifications in both CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation and currently does volunteer doula work at Denver Health.
Paige loves getting out into the Colorado sunshine and enjoys hiking, swimming, skiing and pilates. In her spare time she helps to coach a local high school dance team. She is thrilled to be coming on as a student with Metro Midwifery!
Welcome, Paige! We are glad to have you on board!
